here's mine with me and wife in 2011... used it as my wedding car, every now and then I still find some rice in it.

Looks like the rearview mirror is useless with the top down. Small price to pay. |

That's true, the rearview mirror is useless with the top down. And the visibility in the rearview mirror with the top up is not very good too. The top of the window is a little low. The passenger side mirror isn't on this car for show.
This is my favorite picture of mine:

True, I can see partially (about the top 1/3 of the mirror) when the roof is opened completely. I was thinking of a mod, rear camera with the LCD in the mirror but I haven't found a mirror that is narrow enough. Anything wider than 8" would interfere with the visors, and wouldn't look right.
As Franco (Raul Julia) said in "The Gumball Rally":
And now my friend, the first-a rule of Italian driving.
[Franco rips off his rear-view mirror and throws it out of the car]
What's-a behind me is not important. |

Nice rims! Now that's what I'm talking about, the "other than Ultima" cars. |

This is my '82 Mexi. It was imported to the UK in 1992, from Texas as far as I can make out. It has had a chequered history. Somewhere along the way it lost it's 1600T/P engine which has been replaced by a 1500 S/P. It was converted to RHD by an idiot.
This is how I found it...
Done loads to it since then. I'll update this thread when it is finished. The main thing I did was replace all the engine ancillaries and the fuel system complete. It now runs a pair of Weber 34 ICH (similar to ICTs) and goes really well. |

If I had a few hundred thousand I would gladly wire it to you! The Special Edition is even better than Ultima...I know blasphemy, but I like the painted bumpers, rims, etc.
Parts is about all I can afford. |

I manage sales plans for small pockets too. This Sedan 2003 taxi was shipped to Antwerp, Belgium in 2011. _________________ Parts VW

I like the Ultima more than any mexican Sedan, but those expensive GF Goodrich whitewall tires are not easy to keep clean. _________________ Parts VW

Even that is probably $10K! Nice little car there though.
Ultima is a new 1970-71 USA model, very chrome. That Special is so clean looking, modernized. SE for me!
I will just order a VW alternator belt from you and dream about SE... |
