He's on here - check the tail end of this thread http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=451210&highlight= and I think his samba profile has his website on it.
All they are are the cheapy baby moons that everyone sells, spinsters disks and a set of diamondback whitewalls. And thanks for the compliments. Used seam sealer to glue them on to the wheels and seal the gap around the outside edge.
Was easy except that I scratched one of the wheels, recoated too soon and messed up the paint, which took some work to fix. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

Hello,
Nice woody, I thought I would share the one I just bought that was built back in the late 90's. This one is steel under the wood and started life as a 56 oval and a 70 square back. Not high jacking just sharing....

That's an amazing car you built, Andk. I just stumbled upon some of your threads while looking back through some info in my own thread. I can't wait to see your hearse beetle! (I'm a huge fan of hearses) _________________ Loving my 1970 Beetle.

Thanks - the hearse project has been stalled for a couple months, but hoping to get back to it soon. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

Coolrydes - I thought I had seen pics of that car somewhere a while ago - looks very very well done. And yeah - it looks really right. Just a comment - I used a 53 MG front bumper for the rear bumper. It has really similar contours as the stock VW bumper and the width may work fine. Because the ass end is wide on mine, I had to widen the bumper about 6" (hid the gap with my license plate mount), but you may not need it. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.
