I now own my convertible from high school - again. It's been more than ten years since I drove it. I haven't seen it in person, but it should be up here within the next few months. I asked for a picture and got one yesterday. My first thought was, what happened to the rear fender? My second thought was, that couch matches amazingly well. I suspect I'll be on this forum a lot over the next few years. Thank you in advance for all the advice.

Looks like it will be fairly easy to repair. I have yet to run into any of my old VW's. |

Somebody at Cal Berkeley that knew my brother bought it. I don't know them by name.
It's taking a few months because of schedules and the fact that it hasn't moved much over the last three years. I had lined up somebody to ship it up here, but my brother is looking for an adventure. He was the last person in my family to own it and he wants drive it. So he's been working on it in preparation for the trip. Plus, it's winter and the roads between San Fran and Tacoma have had a few tough weather weeks. I'm also not in a hurry. It'll get here some day. |
