*note: I have been strickened with this annoying habit of being a perfectionist, so here goes:

While adjusting valves, when tighting the screw onto the valve, Do you want the feeler gauge to be tight in the correct position, or do you want to just barely feel the screw scrape against the feeler gauge? I have spent too much time trying to figure this out!! Ha. Thanks

You should get a "go / nogo" feller gauge. They have a step so the tip is .006" and the rest is .008". You want it to move on the .006" but not be able to get the .008" in there.

Don't get too nuts, just check them every 3000 miles or twice a year.

get a air gauge. then set at 0.0" lash! Very Happy
set your valve lash at 0.0" lash at the coldest time and check in 3,000 miles. you will not need to adjust in 3,000miles. Shocked

Yes stock. Just set at the coldest time of the day when the motor is cold.
if you drive your car at 4am then set the valve lash at that time so the motor will never see a colder time. if it gets colder say normal of 60* and now its 30* than re set. Very Happy
