looks good... BUT
Keep up on leeping it clean, I did my bumper in rattle can... and it has started to rust and look like poo after about 6 months...
I plan on stripping it and repainting with auto paint
Hope it continues to last...
I also did a 74 super in mirage (purple/green) it lasted okay except where it got wet from road grime... which immediately started to rust... |
as long as you prepped it and painted it well you should have no problem... i rattlecanned the decklid on my beetle 6 years ago... i have NEVER waxed it and it has not been washed in about 5 years (someone smashed the front end so it just sits, which is actually worse for the paint i think... especially in the FL sun) there are still NO signs of rust, and i am sure if i washed and waxed it, it would shine. _________________ Without love in the dream it will never come true |

Agreed- the key to painting, no matter how it is done, is preparation. "The will to excel means nothing without the will to prepare"... Woah, that was deep for this early in the morning... more coffee please.... |
