I see that there are bug screens available for '85 and up sider doors. Does anyone sell a screen that will fit an '82 slider door?

You can adapt one of those "as seen on TV" magnetic closure units fairly easily.

I do, but the screen mounts externally - must be removed to close the door, which isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Additionally, I've decided that once the gutter hook supply runs out, this screen will no longer be made.
