Any tips for doing a Win7 Sp1 upgrade to Win 10? Cant do Win 11, only 32 bit.
Where to buy, cost? Desktop version |

You shouldn't need to buy it.
If your W7 is licenced, just download the upgrade from Microsoft.

I think originally MS said free upgrade was only for a limited period (first year or so after release, if I remember correctly), but I last did an upgrade from W7 to W10 a couple of years ago for a spare PC that I use for backing up our laptops and it worked fine using the licence code from W7 to activate it. It may have taken a couple of reboots to get it to register though.
As a precaution, take a backup of your system and use it to make a W7 recovery disk/drive, so you can revert if for some reason it doesn't work. _________________ Andy
