I have to buy a new car cover every year because of the antenna poking through the cover.I do put a ball on the tip but it still pokes through. $200 evey year. Do they make a twist off style for the rod to remove during storage. Other than removing it completely. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks everyone

My AM/FM radio antenna lays horizontally in my parcel tray. Works fine. I imagine you could mount an antenna horizontally hanging from the parcel tray with similar results but out of sight.

Put binder clips on the antenna to stop the wind from whipping the cover around the antenna which is likely what eventually makes the hole.

Hey Obus, I like the water bottle idea. I think I may try that! I hate that I don't have a garage any longer. It is getting more difficult to keep up the maintenance. But she is purring after a 6 month slumber. I am on my 18th year with my girl and she keeps giving me so many smiles even in this shitty period of time. Keep busing people!
