Hello,

If someone that has their buggy body off on a stock (or shortened) floor pan; would you mind measuring the approximate height (thickness) of the outer flange of the steel floor pan that mounts to the body? Thanks.

3/4 inch up from the floor height. I used .062 wall .75 inch square tube to form the perimeter on my hand built floors.

I cut the outside off and used 1x3 to make a outside frame

I don't know what body you are working with..... but..... if you are making the perimeter anyway you could raise/lower the body.... or as I did, tilt the body nose down. Mine is 2-3 inches wedged nose down just for the sake of looks (and for a little v engine to fit mostly under)

But anyway ..... if you are making it..... now's the time.
