I’m hoping to make it, I’ll be living in Auburn New York for the summer so reasonably close to the invasion. I’ve been driving my Squareback again to work out the bugs.

Updated the Invasion website by adding some more Invaders to the List and Map. I also put up a preliminary Schedule of Events, FAQs, and some Maps/Directions.

OK...time to start getting folks revved up for the Invasion. We are just a little over 14 weeks away from the invading Ticonderoga, NY! I have some work to do on the Invasion website and I need to start getting pre-orders for the shirts in so I have time to have them printed up. Need to start rounding up donations and items for the charity silent auction. Plan and make the awards. Lots of little things...

I also have work to do on both Jill's Type 34 Ghia and on my 66 Squareback to get them ready for the trip.

Going to be a blast. Looking forward to caravaning out there and getting back together with old friends and making new ones.

As it says, no pre-payment is necessary if you are picking up your shirts at the Invasion. If you can't make the Invasion, but still want a shirt or two, please reach out to me and I can arrange shipping...but you will have to cover the shipping cost also. Shipped shirts will go out a week or two after the Invasion.

Hello Invaders,

I am really looking forward to meeting the new folks and getting together with old friends. Hard to believe we are just less than 2 months away from invading Ticonderoga.

We have a few things to ask that will help us from a planning standpoint….

1. Please let me know if you plan to arrive early enough for the Early-bird Get-together on Thursday evening and how many will be there. We are still working out the details and having some rough attendance numbers will be helpful.

2. We also always have a Saturday night dinner together. Again, please let us know if you plan to attend and how many. Details and cost still TBD.

3. Finally, I will be placing the order for the Invasion t-shirts by Mid-May. If you are interested in buying a t-shirt or 2 or more, please let me know sizes and quantities so that I can make sure to order enough of each size. No pre-payment is necessary and there is no obligation to buy them should you change your mind. It just makes it easier for me and Jill if we can have them pre-sorted and bagged up for folks ahead of time. I will order extras also. Price for the shirts will be $15 with at least $4 from each shirt going to the Invasion charity.
