|

Guys,
I know this may not fly, but...I have a really nice Single Cab with excellent, real patina. It's a CA/AZ truck with mostly OG paint and my initial idea was to logo it with my business logo on the doors.
I can't bring myself to do it permanently since I will only need it on there for 2 occasions every year for maybe a day or two at a time. Otherwise I really don't want to drive around with it on there.
I realize I can have the logo cut in vinyl but I was wondering if there is a temporary paint that I am not familiar with. I'd like to use a stencil to paint it for the events and then remove it when done. It's a pretty simple, one color logo so that helps.
Obviously I don't want to damage the OG paint so I may be looking for a unicorn but I thought it was worth the ask.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Here's a pic of the SC.

Howdy ...
Perhaps tempura paint ?
It's water soluble & used on skin, like sports fanatics & such.
Vinyl graphics would yield sharper images but can be peeled off with a heat gun.
Time versus money ... maybe.
Best luck ... stay safe

Just have it printed on a clear wrap and be done with it.
Goes on easy and peels without damaging the paint. Having the respray a bus because you damaged the paint is no small risk. _________________ modok wrote:

Thanks esde, a bodyshop owner gave me a few things to safely try so it looks like I am all set. If it doesn't work then yes, vinyl has always been option 2 as I said in my original post, but I wanted to see if there was something safe and it looks like it's a good possibility. _________________ Sebastian Gaeta

How about your logo on a magnetic vinyl? No "paint" issues, not permanent, most of them I have seen are pretty darn good. _________________ Larry in OB
