Here are a pair of mystery VW parts I acquired at some point! I was sorting through a 5gal bucket of nuts and bolts and had all sorts of stuff from early split buses to late super beetles, so don't really have any clues as to what this is for.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

All good if everything is stock but throw in an aftermarket M/C or somebody swapped out a single for a 67 up M/C or the pan half got changed usin* aftermarket. Point is there are variables to consider. Manuals also say never to alter the rod length and you can throw that out the window too. Not saying ignore manuals but as with most things you gotta tweek parts to fit. |

Agree with that, I've adjusted a few over the years but I was 100% sure someone had messed with it in the past as it was off and causing issues.
I did some searching and it looks like the one on the right with a double step is for a dual circuit master cylinder.
Apparently there's still a few variations though, possibly 67 only, later versions, and ?
If I'm wrong, someone will correct me _________________ How to Post Photos

The one on the left is the style that came with my '63 except the master cylinder end has been screwed in all the way and the jam nut is missing. It works with a dual circuit master cylinder, I upgraded without issue. _________________
