My '58 survivor, non-standard dash. It's not far off though, just a later screen wash/wipe button and a grommet blanked off auxiliary switch.

I love the painted dash and how it was designed on the older Ghia's. Very beautiful.

I just wonder if Betty had her roots here in Finland. Saarni is a family name here and stands for ash wood (lat. Fraxinus).

Not Betty. Her husband Frank Saarni was born in San Francisco but his ancestors came from Finland. Frank was an interesting man too: https://www.sunsetviewcemetery.com/obituary/frank-saarni/

Dry and warm today after a couple of weeks of rain so Betty's Baby gets to stretch her legs.

First picture is Ashlett Creek on Southampton Water. The large building is a 19th century tide mill.

The second picture is Calshot Castle an artillery fort, built by Henry VIII to defend the sea entrance to Southampton Water and the port of Southampton.
