Do I dare post a link to Amazon...
On NGK/sparkplugs.com those 5s only come with resistors. The 6s you asked about come as you want, just in a wider gap. But we've been over this. |

The 5 or 6 is the heat range. The R in the designation means resistor. Alot of businesses will give you resistor plugs as they have been told they are suitable replacements |

The "R" refers to having a resistor: B5ES has no resistor, BR5ES has a resistor. The number refers to the inverse of heat range: BR5ES is a hotter plug than a BR6ES. _________________

Why not just make a custom set of wires with a Y splice in them. Then you could just run one distributor. |
I don't think electrickery works that way |

The link to the chart I posted breaks down what the letters and numbers signify on a spark plug for NGKs. You get to pick your poison accordingly. 5s or 6s or go even colder! Resistor or no resistor and so on. Then you just need to decide where you can and want to buy them. |

. I was able to get 4 Old Stock B5ES, from Advanced Auto.
For years I have been running the 5, but recently guys said I should be running the 6... So as for as leading the horse to water, Screw it, I am sticking with the 5. Rather not have the resistor , I don't have a radio in my bug. Another example is were the radio was I put my switches upside. Ha they were not made to read NO NO NO NO etc and I got used to it, ha.

I run heat range 7 non resistor. But I have a pretty lively 2180. Nothing wrong with the 5s depending what you're putting them in. |
