Just an fyi...
Needed a accelerator cable tube and found that a standard 5/16" brake line is the exact replacement. I purchased a 12" line for $6 and cut off one of the flared ends to length and it worked perfectly.

I used a washer to help with the 'hole' for the tube

I make them from a roll I have and flair it, but if you don't then getting a pre-made piece is a good alternative. _________________ Glenn

I used 1/4" stainless instrument tube the same way. _________________ We had the stone age, the bronze age, the industrial age and now we are in the age of mass deception and mind control for corporate profit. (The mass media age) |

I use an old speedo cable outer . the flair under the nut works as a stop for the fan shroud . |

Gotta love the Hillman Group started in 1964 by Max W. Hillman Sr, Billions made selling washers nuts and bolts sold in every hardware store across the Country. You can find a Hillman washer in every residential home garage coast to coast. (Unless your neighbor drives a Tesla) The fact we can still buy a pack of zinc plated washers for under 2 dollars in 2024 is pretty cool. |
