i am new to VW's and trying to get a baja going for my son. Got a misfire on #1 and tried a few things new plugs, wires compression check etc, with no luck so i would like to see if anyone knows someone in arizona they can recommend to look at it and wouldnt have it for ever. thanks!

arizona is a big place.......
most resources are going to located in the the phoenix & tucson metro areas.

In Tucson area, I'd recommend Chirco.

In Phoenix, I'd recommend Wedge. West Phoenix and East Valley: no recommendation.

Machine work: European Auto Machine on 24th Street


Realize that I've done 99% of my own maintenance and repairs on mine for 5 decades.

i am on the east side in chandler, but willing to take it anywhere that is trust worthy.

I've actually helped 4 Samba members hands-on, two were positive interactions, the other two way more trouble than it was worth. And no charge.
