We replaced the “VSS” that is from the transmission. Still the P0501 “vehicle speed sensor implausible signal” comes back and we assume that this is keeping the cruise from functioning.
The van runs excellent and shifts perfectly.
Anyone one experience this? |

| You may have a a bad wiring connection onto speed sensor it self. Check the wires. When I had speed sensor problem causing cruise control not to work. I unplugged t the speed sensor and plugged it back in. The problem went away. So I figured I must have had a bad connection. There was a lot of oil around the area. I had a leaking intercooler pipe. It caused a lot of oil splash. |
