i'm sorry i did not save the picture . . . .
but was a shroud with a round cross section ever a factory part, or could what i saw have been a late contemporary custom fabrication?
both it and the surrounding tins were an ivory color if that's any more clue.

Do you remember where you saw it/ that from a " magazine, picture,video" do you remember what vw it was on a..like a stock vw, custom vw so on so on ...to me sounds /looks like a volksrod builder would do ..... |

embarrassingly enough . . . . it may have been Pinterest.
i know, i know . . .
but it was a stand alone engine from memory. the shroud was so obviously styled you may be correct in a contemporary builder having responsibility. |
