I made it out to Fort Bragg in '04 or so. Campground I stayed at was a base camp for abalone divers.

I was surprised at the size of abalone. They make mussels and clams barely worth the effort by comparison.

In Northern California and the Pacific Northwest we have clams worth the effort Wink

Girlfriend likes clams. She has a big plate of steamers when we go to Young's Lobster Pound up on the Maine coast,

She says she won't go in the water if those freaky West Coast clams are in there.

"Girlfriend likes clams" Good to know that ( I'm not even going there). M-85 was ( maybe still is) mind erasing , giggly ass, boutique cannabis strain with Thai origins going back to the 60's. "Insiders" strain nearly impossible to duplicate.
