Had this a few months down under.

It’s a May 54 rhd Australian delivered I think it’s Iceland Green.

Motor is a little of an old speed hypo motor.
Based round a 36hp case. And taken to limits.

Car is well equipped with the likes of 356 brakes and Berg engine bits.

I bought this complete as my 51 beetle is a long way from complete as is my callook tribute.

This is fun.
New exhaust is on its way the Abarth is limiting the performance.

Awesome, I was wondering who ended up with this.

Imo they don't come much better than this, is it as fast as the rumours say?

Hey Henry.
It flys.

Breaks traction in third in the wet.

The specs are filter in through from the guy who built the motor.

It’s a 36hp case w a Porsche 912 crank
Dual port heads and all the goodies inside.

The super charger is a shorrock but I’m yet to find out what it is.

Anyone know anything about these?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a much bigger Shorrock charger than the standard Vw version. What sort of CC is it? About 1400?

Wow, That 54 is awesome. What a beast, it must be a blast to drive. Are you going to go with a Sebring style exhaust or something different?

Yeah the CSP mosquito is sitting in the box waiting to go.

It’s there Sebring styled one.

Yeah it’s a blast to drive. And when you open the engine lid peoples reaction is priceless

That is a great looking car. Glad to hear the CSP Mosquito was an improvement over the Abarth. It looks great on your car. I have limited room in my garage, especially in length. How much more does the Mosquito stick out past the bumper compared to the Abarth?

Hi. Thanks.

I think it hangs out about 100mm further than the WW Abarth one.
