What were the correct years for snowflake taillights. I usually see them on Ovals but I have also seen them on early, small squares. Im not sure if they are correct on small square window cars or not. I was actually asking because I have a set and Im tempted to put them on my 62 vert, but I want to have it as correct as possible. _________________ • Metal Fab & Quality Suspensions, Type I-II-III. They used them in late 55 as well (generally after May55, but sometimes before depending on the options on the car). _________________ Kevin "Wiggy"

I think they began using them late July, early August of 1955. _________________ Always on the hunt for pre 1950 literature and other rarities!

Wiggy is correct about May for USA spec cars. My un-restored 1955 model year Sunroof Beetle produced for the USA market on June 22nd 1955 still has it's original snowflake tail light assemblies.
