Found this one today, spent it's whole life on a small island that unfortunately wreaks havoc on undercarriages, though the bus as a whole is pretty straight (some demons hiding under the driver side rocker panel though...) 72 Westfalia, came with some cool literature!

Found these two (actually three, but the other is a Sinka) in the hills under a lean-to on the backside of a property in October of 22. The owner abandoned them on the property about three years prior and the land owner said I could purchase them the following summer if I dealt with the lien paperwork, which I was glad to do.
Over the winter, unprecedented snow caused the lean-to to collapse on the two, causing some damage, but nothing too crazy. Pulled the 71 single cab out in June of 23 and the 71 camper in July. Changed the oil, fuel, lines and batteries and they both ran!
The truck has plenty of rust, but I absolutely love it and will be keeping it to put to work. The bus was ultra dry, but had some poor body repairs and has been sold off and went to Bakersfield. The Sinka is incredibly dry, but unfortunately the engines toast so that'll probably be sold off down the line too. Both were filled to the brim with random parts, which can be seen in the photo of them all laid out. Some of the good stuff and an OG tilt and bow set for the 71 single cab, a VWoA roof rack with folding ladder and some Eberspacher stuff.
Will update some more photos later!

Great find! Interesting that the single cab has license plates from Boundary County, Idaho. That is the northernmost tip of the panhandle, just a few miles North of me. _________________ nothing |

Winter Bus Hunting in Vermont!
Found this through a property for sale listing, hiked down to it, it's a SO? Non walk thru. The add says there are 7 vehicles that need to be removed, I'm going to get with the realtor and put my name in to get the Bus, if possible. There is also a '70's Bug and a '66 Bug, so much snow I could tell what kind of shape any of them are in. _________________ Tom

If its not a walk through, then it may have a Westfalia Helsinki interior. _________________
