Saw this on eBay. I realize you can ‘ask’ whatever price you want, but $108,000 seems a bit steep for a Thing. Then again, a few years back no one would have believed $150,000+ for a Split Bus.

Overheard on 27 June 07, one lady to another when they saw my Harli in a parking lot at West Point, "maybe he found it on the clearance aisle at the Volkswagen dealer" |

I see the Volo adds in Hemmings and the prices always seem high to me. Listening to that guy list all it has though I can see how someone wrapped up $100k in it. Not my cup of tea though. _________________ "Someday the world is gonna be populated by nothing but Volkswagens'" Corporal Klairvoy |

When he starts showing the engine bay first thing that stood out is,........I can see the ground! He's got no tin and no sealing strip in the C groove. In an air cooled engine. I'm new here but isn't that a recipe for disaster? Especially on a hopped up engine? |

Yes, it's silly that someone would build that kind of engine and neglect that part. _________________ SL |

Exactly. The Line-X covered hard top is a beaut too.
