My bus in the Philippines. Bought earlier this year for only 75,000 Philippine Pesos or $1,500 U.S. Future is for a set of front and rear safari windows for the hot and muggy climate here. Doing some research with the vin #'s I believe it's a 1961 and the only split window bus that I know of around here. Note the custom homemade fabricated front bumpers.

Here's my "new" '66 ten minutes before I started resto. I towed this baby home 319 miles last week with my Subaru wagon (1.8 liter engine) in a 30 mph wind. The VW gods were smiling on me that day, the sooby pulled like a champ and bus, car, and driver made it home safe after a 15 hour round trip! More photos to come as resto proceeds.

Here's a 64-65 Standard Micro I found in somebody's backyard. Most of the rust you see is just surface and other than the rear bumper it's pretty much complete. Oh and it still has the logos where it was a Church bus in Miss.
I have to decide wheather I want this or a 58 Ghia I found, hmmm.

My engine is almost complete! Woo hoo! 1600 dual port with dual 34 Webers, 6V 200mm flywheel, smoothed exhaust ports on new heads, will have a header and single quiet pack as soon as it gets here. It should make my 62 bus (follow the link) scoot along nicely.

Late '57 Standard from Central California. Original owner, used as family vehicle, then as a roving advertisement for the family hardware store. Supposedly low rust and minimum damage. Complete interior, minus ripped front seat and trashed headliner. Parked for the last 20 years, running when parked.
