Looking to purchase a new timing light with a built-in tachometer.

Anybody out there have any good suggestions and or ones to stay away from?

Don’t mind spending a little bit of money if the product is worth it.

Appreciate the help as always.

It your running points get yourself a Dwell meter with tach and a standard timing light. I found mine on E-Bay 15+ years ago. I also bought a timing light with advance dial. I checked it against a degree pulley with a standard light first. I take it to tune others cars as once you get a degree pulley you don't go back, unless your a stock Nazi

I use an Innova 3568 digital timing light, similar to their 5568. It has a digital tach (249 to 9,990 RPM) and digital advance (0 to 90 degrees). I prefer them over the 'dial' timing lights due to the digital accuracy.

The innova timing light works with my petronix.

The innova does not work with MSD.

Soon to install a Winterburn CDI and will see if i can get the light to work when in CDI mode, I know it will work in STD mode.

I've used my Innova 3568 with a Mallory Unlite/6AL and CBP MagnaSpark II/Mallory 6AL without any issues. Can't speak to MSD.

IVe got an Autometer with built in shift light. Not bright enough. paired it with the auxiliary shift light, and much better.
