putting on the new walker quiet flow muffler and figured I should as, is the end where it reads "outlet" the end where the tail pipe goes?

| my walker muffler has threaded holes for the tail pipe bolts making the slots the connection to the cat.....and the tailpipe side says outlet. |

"Outlet”
Means Out…..
hence exhaust exit.
