Anyone have any recommendations for a dynamic balancing? And what was your price where you got it done?

I just did a google search for "portland oregon engine builders". There seem to be a number of them. There also seems to be a raceway. So somebody in town builds racing engines. And you can bet they have the parts balanced.
So make a few calls.

There is really only one place in Portland and it's now called A1 Automotive Machine. It used to be called Dan Hall's but he died and his son took over the shop. Does a good job and knows his stuff. Recommend them.
My last invoice (2/2012) says $175 on my crank/rods balance job.

About a month or so ago I saw craigslist ads stating machine shop closing sale and the address was the old Dan Halls/ new A1 location, has anyone talked to them in the last couple of months?
I have always had my engines balanced at Eastco in Gresham and they always come out running smooth as silk. |

They will be doing my upcoming head work so that I can finish this project and move on to the next one in line.... |

I called eastco and Steve's. Eastco quoted me $250 and a week turnaround. Steve's quoted me $125 and 1-2 days turnaround. I think I'm gonna try out Steve's. he was real nice on the phone as well. Thanks for the recommendations.
