A little more information would help with suggestion on what to use.
How much does your rail weigh?
What size engine do you have?
Front or rear tires?
What type of sand are you running in? Blow sand, wet sand or etc..?
The most common size paddle tire sold is a 13.00x15in that Beckett (Padla Traks)(now Sand Tire Unlimited) came out with years ago with different size paddles that you cut part of them of to suit the combination you are running. |

Sorry about that im really not sure what the rail weight, to be honest i dont plan on ever being in the sand with it being im in the north east. I am really looking for more of a all around mud tire for the rear and some thing simalar in the front. Just trying the get a idea of what size mudders other people are running, i dont want any thing to wild i dont wanna blow apart trannys. I was thinking around a 265/75/15 for the rear. Is that too big? And i have no idea for the front. The motor is a 1600 nothing to crazy webber carb and mofoco heads. |

Yes something in the size of a 27-29in tall and not too wide should work with your stock trans and 1600cc engine.
For front if you run with a open lug mud & snow type tire it more likely to throw mud and other crap back at you then a smoother thread pattern. |

What upgrades would need to be done to the tranns to take a larger tire say a 33-12.50 |

Big ticket is an engine with enough HP to turn them and a bus transaxle. |

It will bolt up to the engine. You may have to shorten the end of the input shaft. Depending on your trans mount, you may need to change that. You will also need axles and stub axles if you run bus cv's on the outside. |
