hi guys,
just wanted to know if someone has a Ford T Bucket on a vw beetle chasis.
Also are there any fiberglass fotd t bucket kits designed especially for the VW? Where can I get them? I wouldnt mind a used and old one either
Do you think for a ford t bucket to fit on a vw you have to shorten the body or it looks fine on a normal long body? |

I know of 2 Model T type cars that used a frame that was a combo of the model T front frame and the vw rear torsion section. The first cars were built by kent fuller out of california. The second place I knew of was speedway motors out of indiana. The offered a kit called the vw23 or vx23. There have been 1 or 2 that have popped up here in the classifieds. I don't think too many were made. There may have been other makers or homemade cars, but these were the main ones that I know about. Speedway motors no longer offers their vw based model t kit, but you may be able to contact them to see if they know of who build their frames and if they are still in business. |
