Do you mean in Dayton? Maybe you should start a club.
There's 19 Berry Mini-Ts in the DBA registry, one of the more plentiful types they have. What's on the DBA is a tiny fraction of what's out there. They only have 25 Meyers Manxes in their registry but the Manx Club has about 1000.
I've seen a lot of people with Berry Mini-Ts call them Barris Mini-Ts.

I see real Berry Mini-Ts on Craigslist all the time.

The last knob correctly calls it a Berry Mini-T, then says it was designed by George Barris. |

Maybe I should have been more clear, I was talking about "Berry Mini-T 2" If you look they are only 3 2s and the rest are 4s. and I counted the 3 on DBA. I have seen several that say Berry Mini-T and aren't, some other T style body, most having the straight bottom on the windshield. |

Like I said, I see them for sale all the time, usually 2 seaters. All the ads I posted that day had the Berry curved lower windshield, and three of the four were 2 seater.

You mean Kyote 2. That is a true rarity!

Its got a Transvair. Its funny how many times I've seen people who own them, call Corvair engines V6. |

I seriously doubt it's very sought after, heck it's mine and I don't even like the front! lol, but it's kinda rare. More of a "Thing" shape up front. They were made in Battle Creek MI, by B-C Fiberglass and the model is called the BCBee. There's only 5 of us on DBA, with pans ranging from 54-69/70, so it looks like they just sold the body only and you were on your own once you bought it.
oh- wanted to add a LMAO to the guy who posted the photo of the most common buggy... the "I'll have it running in the spring" buggy.... that's funny stuff!!! lol |

My buggy is pretty rare. The thing that sets it apart from the others is how the headlights are mounted. Not on the fenders, but on angle iron attached to the shock towers. There is no indication that they ever were mounted to the fenders. It's also frustrating not knowing what manufacture it is. There is one other like mine on the DBA site. http://www.dunebuggyarchives.com/forum/topic_show.pl?pid=5306;hl=x-0033#pid5306

Oh yeah, the green buggy next to the blue one.. I have no idea what that is either! My wife's buggy is one of those that can be many if you read BL3Max's post a page back. Lido? El Lobo? El Tigre? Enos 500? Don't know. I call it "My Wife's Buggy"! We have 3 buggies. |

The buggy in the photo next to the blue one looks like a Safari - or a clone of the Safari. Does the hood have a lip that drops down in front, but doesn't tuck under & have a license plate recess like a Manx style hood? Ridge or no ridge on hood? I had a Subaru powered Safari & know the body style pretty well... more pics available?

This is a total shot in the dark. But the green buggy with it's squared off rear end. The name "Beacon" came into my mind.

Safari & Safari Trail had different 'tail boxes' where the license plate is located - Safari had a cutout like the green buggy in photo, whereas the Trail had a tail box that projected outward over the area where single carb would be located. Also, what does the green buggy hood & dash look like?

Daddy-0, that is a pretty unusual car. Very cool.
I was the one who had the most common buggy, "Running In The Spring". No manufacturing date for that car, because the release date keeps getting pushed into the future.
The next most common is the "When I Get Money To Build a Monster 2232cc" buggy, followed by the "I Wish I had IRS" buggy, which is very similar to the "When I Get The Pan Done" buggy and "When I Can Afford to Have It Painted" buggy.
This is the model I have now;
This is the " Wouldn't You Rather Spend the Short Pacific Northwest Summer Working on Your Buggy Rather Than Driving It In The Sun" buggy. Sea trials are testing my patience. I will have it all sorted out this winter, then it will be back to being the "Running In The Spring" car that it started out as....
It's a Sears Rascal for those who haven't seen other pics of it. Not really that rare either, unless you drive a buggy up here...not a place you see many cars without roofs or heaters. |

Dang. I kind of like this.
Never saw one before now.
Beautiful in a speed racer ish kind of way.
Here you go mate, I've had it for 12 years now
not std but it's just how I bought it
and I love it

The wheels are Cobra Supa Slots
The spoiler I put on, I think it evens up the profile
and I made the hood
Allot of work has been done over the past 12 years and allot of money
I think I've got it hoe I want it
O yea
I put a hydrolic clutch which I made up myself, no bought parts
I hope you like him

Green buggy body & dash look a lot like the Safari, but the hood looks like a Manx clone hood -
Easy to build a 'hybrid' with enough time & fiberglass...

The is the Oak Street buggy body just like the advert that was posted.
I had one and when Bruce saw it he just shook his head. It was one of the first companies that Bruce brought suit against.
Also Dune Runner and Fun Runner in the early sixties made the same body before going to the drop drop down sides. |
