I bought a working VDO 52mm 7k RPM tachometer that I need help figuring out how to connect to my wiring harness. The model # is230/105/2 12v 14K impedance, 4cyl/4 stroke. Anyone got the documentation for one of these? I tried a bunch of search parameters on Google as well as the VDO site, with no luck.

Thanks,
Mark

Refer to the right side image of Diagram C on page 2, showing the connection to the negative (1) terminal of the coil:

Thanks, sactojesse.

Mine is slightly different in the back than that one. I've got "+", "–" and "G". The + obviously goes to switched power and the – goes to ground, so that just leaves the G connector, which looks like it must go to the negative side of the coil. Hmmm...

Got the info form the seller...So the + goes to power, the G goes to ground and the – goes to the coil negative side. I'll test it this weekend, and thanks again.
