I don't think they work on VW's but they sell a good number of them, so they probably know of a good mechanic in the area. Good Luck! |

:) There used to be a Hitlers Revenge Engine Exchange and later Volks Works Parts on Callens Rd for 17 yrs as I recall that had a nice reputation......oh wait.....not in business anymore (I'm retired in Baja).
Kidding aside check with Larry at Bugrunner in Montalvo if he is still working on VW's (a good friend when I was there).
Then there was Molnar Bros (Hungarians like me) on Main st near the High School.
Unfortunatly we do get older and retire......with the Internet I'm almost ready to reopen another parts place based upon the prob lems I have been having getting a couple of parts for my Turbo engine. |

might help there is an active group in Santa Barbara that may lend a hand - look on the SAMBA for VW posters from Santa Barbara -
or worst case call Airhead parts or Karman Ghia Parts and Restoration (KGPR) in Ventura. Scott should be able to give you a list of names a mile long. |
