Hey guys,

I don't personally own a vanagon, but I was at the junkyard this morning and thought maybe you guys might be able to snag some parts from these cars; I saw 4 Vanagons. Two of them looked watercooled (with A/C) and two of them were air cooled. The two watercooled ones (and one of the air cooled ones) were in REALLY REALLY, REALLY good shape. The three good ones were totally rust free, not a dent on them, and totally complete. Interiors were immaculate as well, I mean, the interiors basically looked new. There was a blue one, a white one, a beige one, and then a rusty green one.

The yard is U-Pull-It located in Davie, Florida. (in Fort Lauderdale). Take I-95 to 595 (in Broward County). Take 595 West for about 1 mile, and take SR7/441 SOUTH for 1 mile. The junkyard is located on the right-side.

Please forward this to any Vanagon lists you guys know of.

Parts are DIRT cheap here by the way.

Hey guys,

I've been receiving a bunch of parts requests, and I'm REALLY, REALLY sorry. With where I work right now, I get 1 day off a week, plus my wife is 7.5 months pregnant, and I'm also taking classes at night. I honestly have so little time to do anything, let alone pull parts. I really wish that I had the time to do this, or buy them and stash them on a piece of property for that matter, but I just absolutely don't have the time.

Sorry guys...

Is there anyone who lives nearby who would be interested in helping some people? I've got a few PMs looking for parts off the Vanagons.

My van is pretty complete and could use a few odds and ends, so I guess I will be off on Monday! LOL I will take some pictures and post when I go.

Hey, don't know if you're looking for upgrades for your truck, but there is an F350 in the yard too... it looks like an 02 or something?

Yeah, take 95 to 595.
Then take 595 WEST to 441 SOUTH.
Take 441 South for 1 mile, it will be on the right-hand side.
