Does anyone know of any upcoming VW events here in North Carolina?

Also, I wanted to know if anyone has any information on any VW clubs here in Charlotte. I see Metrolina Volkswagen Enthusiasts, but many of their links seem to be disabled making me think they are no longer around.

Am I a lone wolf out here in the Queen City? :-s

Does the MVWE still have there monthly cruise in Kings Mtn.? Like Nichelob said, the website seems to be forgotten.

I am a Bug guy right now, would love to get my paws on a Bus eventually. Is the Transporter Club 'Beetle-Friendly'?

Guys, I know the folks up there and I am sure they will chime in soon.
Although I do know that event the Bus Meets are pretty much for everyone!
Just send the guys an email from the Piedmont Transporter Owners website.

There are quite a few shows in NC, just check the samba under Community or go to www.sevwa.com

I am the one who tries to keep up the website for MVWE. (I admit that I don't really know how to do much website work, and I dont update it as often as I should).

The only broken link that I know of is the mailing list link. I have asked the website administrator who set all this up for us to help fix that one link.
The other information including the cruise-in info on the site is current.

There are monthly meetings in conjunction with the PTO as noted earlier.

The biggest event event of the year was CTS 5 just last month. Check out the thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=270390

If there are other broken links please let me know. I will try to fix them.

Its not forgotten, but I do not have the dates for the Swoogers cruise in. If anyone knows, I will post the dates. Kings Mountain is over an hour away from home for me, so I have not gone at all this season.

There is a cruise-in in Mooresville Saturday. There are usually 2-3 of us VW people there. Starts at 1600 in downtown.
