Any good suggestions for panel work around the Hamilton,Ontario area (within say a hundred KM's).I need the usual on my bus-new rockers,corners,driver side floor.I am looking to get a good job done but not a total repaint and such-basically remove the rust and tremclad the poor bus.With kids life is busy and expensive-dreams of total rebuilds and immaculate buses, become preservations instead of restorations.

| Might be a bit out of your area, but i found a guy in Consecon, near Trenton. My 71 is in there now. Guys name is kelly he basicly does old VW and porches. Good welder. It was a 3 hour drive for me but with his prices there is no need to shop around. Let me know if you want his number. |

| Yo Captain I am in the same spot but have chosen to buy rust free cut out parts from the States. I can get a complete rocker inner/outer for $50. With part of the floor and part of the side panel. Delivery is a bit tough and I am bothered that he is cutting up a rust free body but I need it. I think it is a much better way to do it. Find what you need and then take it to a body guy to R&R. |
