T-handle decklid latches latched onto a little tab welded onto the apron. I'm not sure if you can get them, but you could probably fabricate something that would work.

you dont glue the inserts. they're called inserts because you insert them between the tire and rim.

i believe some people use contact cement on the edge to help keep the inserts in place.

you need to make your own latch for the 66.

thats one on my 66

For the portawalls, just break the bead and insert them between the rim and the tire. Do this dry since any lube or water will cause the insert to pop out when inflated. With the valve stem still out inflate the tires to reseat the bead then let the air out again. Then go around the tire and tap the insert further into the rim bead. There are rings embossed into the portawalls and tapping the inserts in with your hand will center the insert on the rim and tighten them on the tire. You'll see what I mean when you start. Also clean the tire really well and let them dry before you start otherwise it will discolor the insert.
