Anyone here ever adjusted the vacuum advance on their Mallory Uni lite distributor? I have a camper special and the full timing is set at 28 degrees advance as per Jake, now I need to set the initial vacuum advance to 12. I have NO idea how to do this. I bought this advance timing light:

Which way do you turn it to adjust and what does the adjustment actually accomplish? |

Its going to adjust how much advance you get compared to how much vacuum is being pulled. |

Here is the info I was looking for since I couldn't find my instructions until today. This info is from Mallory. "The 47 series has 24 degrees mechanical advance at about 3200 rpm. The vacuum advance is adjsutable and is preset at 10 degrees fro mthe factory. To take vacuum advance out use a 5/32 allen and insert it into the nipple. 1 full turn CW takes about 2-3 degrees out." |
