I was wondering the same. I stay up in Maple Grove when I make my sales call in Chaska and try to get into town when a meet or even the BugIn is going on.

I tried to catch a club meeting back in March but the weather kept things in check.

It looks like it might rain on Sunday. If it looks like rain, I won't be bringing the bug. I guess we will see.

The only ACVW show in the Twin Cities and it looks like its going to rain all day Sunday...damn our luck...

Yeah, figures! I am still heading up there in the morning. The show will go on rain or shine, so I thought I would still at least check it out even if I'm not bringing my bug.

The show was okay.

It sprinkled on and off for a few hours.. kinda made me want to get a VW!

i forgot to bring cash for the cover, and so i went to the ATM at a nearby gas station and said there was an error with my card, so i never got the cash to get it :( i just looked over the fence for awhile, and went on my way

So I woke up late, and by the time I got to the show, it was about 1pm (takes a few hours to get there). (Side note: we took a different route than normal as we didn't want to run into the 35W detour stuff and ended up getting a little lost, oops!) Weather wasn't too bad, only rained a little bit while I was there. I think the weather definitely factored into the relatively small number of cars that turned out. I think when I was there, it was about 60 cars? I know in past years that lot was full. It was still nice to see some VWs though! Good job, Twin Cities VW Club! I will get pictures posted as soon as possible.

And wonword, that sucks...if I would have seen you, I would have loaned you some money to get in. Heck, it was only $3, I would have paid your way. Oh well, next time!

Yeah it was a decent show, considering the weather...

I got there at 9:30, so not all the cars were there yet, but I managed to score a Ghia arm rest (finally) at the swap!

thanks! :D yeah, its kinda sucked, especially that i didnt have $3 cash on me haha, thats something i should have thought of before i left home. and i dont know why the ATM didnt work?? anyway, i watched over the fence for a little bit haha, it would have been really easy to just hop over the orange fence, but then i would have felt really stupid haha
