I got 'em from The Longboard Grotto in Leucadia, CA. Any surf shop that carries older stuff should have 'em.
I wish I was surfin' back then, but my parents were still in high school.

By the way...our next project in my graphics design class is bumper stickers....so If anyone has any ideas, im open for them. Of course they would be available for you guys. At least I hope...depends on how many we make.

Bay 74.... My '70 Crew Cab is in being redone over the winter. While I was waiting for it I planned on making this bumper sticker for the back window - seemed appropriate for a drop gate hauler. If you would like the art file for this I would be happy to send it to you.

That was the ECMSAS Trailbash 2 I think.
I was there along with 17 other buses. We did about 35-40 miles on trails in the remote pine berrins os S NJ. It was really wet last year but that just added to the fun.
Search "ECMSAS" & or "trailbash" on youtube.com some pretty good vids were loaded. I ventured off into a pretty deep puddle & got stuck. My engine stalled & was submerged in water. Water line was 1/2 way up the dizzy. Engine hydro-locked, but I was able to blow out the water & got it running. Changed the oil 2X but it still blew up before I got home. It did make over 100 miles, but not close enough before the #1 & 2 rod bearings siezed. I threw a motor together & made it to Transporter fest in MA a month or so later. Still not happy motor & needs a case...

Anyway here is my rear window stickers.

Center is an original Kamei sticker & the Hazet D on the right. Other cool odl stickers on the side windows but no pics.

Too bad you don't have a pic with both your rear window stickers and the "high water line" across your engine hatch.

That still makes me laugh. I opened the sliding door & water poured out.
I think I helped you get the propane tank off your bus before we ventured into the woods.

I guess this pics could count as the stickers are visible but can read them...

Yep, that was me. Thanks for the help. I was debating taking it off, I'm glad I did. :)

That's the "melvan" from New Mexico. I met the old owners at our local show on LI a few years ago. Sadly, the gentleman passed away and his wife ended up selling the bus on here.

Melvan is still on the road. NJ, 2006.

I camped with that guy and his wife at the classic in 98. He told me that his rear bumper was NOS. He had bought three of them for $60 a piece from the dealer. The one on his bus at the time was the first of the three. What a cool couple we drank wine ate cheese and I was only 19.

I have an upsidedown "Bow-Wow Import Parts" dog sticker with X for eyes. You know... to mourn the loss of our beloved VW specialty store that went out of business last month.

I want one that says "My other Volkswagen is also a bay window."

Hah! I've gotten a few of those in the past as well...
My first bus, the 78 auto, came with a Grateful Dead Skull & roses sticker...
My truck currently sports maybe 10 - 15 stickers, from NCSU Engineering, RR crossing safety, and a DOH sticker, to of course the mandatory TeamSpatula and Air Cooled Search & Rescue Team stickers...

This was the 1st sticker I put on my bus, and it's my favorite! :D I remember having seen this slogan, but I'm sure it was on a License Plate Frame.

Shouldn't that be "Pedaling"?

pedaling: 2. a leverlike part worked by the foot to supply power in various mechanisms, as the bicycle.

peddling:
1. to carry (small articles, goods, wares, etc.) from place to place for sale at retail; hawk.
2. to deal out, distribute, or dispense, esp. in small quantities: to peddle radical ideas.
3. to sell (drugs) illicitly.

skivw67,

Was this it?

Maybe my PO stole it? Just kidding.

I normally don't put stickers on things but there were a couple of them already on the Bus so I kept them.
