I need a quart of silver white for trim, bumpers, wheels and poptop...
anyone have strong feelings for either Limco Single stage eurathane or PPG Omni?...both are about $60/quart with reducer and activator included
only other source of silver white i was able to find was PPG Concept at $110/quart (with all components)- is this worth the extra $50 (shine and durability that much better?
I know this is a kind of tough color to find because it is a trim color (took me several trips/phone calls to the same couple shops) so FWIW, here is how my local paint shops found it ->this color was found in the PPG computer under 1958 VW "silver white L82" available only in Concept (with a cross reference to omni - which indicates it can be mixed with either product)...the Dupont computer at the other supplier did not have this color, but they did have it in Limco's line under the same name - 1967 vw silver white L82 |

And the color will be accurate as well, as long as you get it in single stage. I would get it in the Omni if I were you. |

silver in single stage is VERY hard to spray evenly and still be shinny. But out of the brands you mentioned DCC or Concept would be best |

I've used both Omni & Concept . Concept is much better. I don't know about Limco. |

Limco is pretty much the cheaper version of Glasurit or RM |

By the way, if you want to use Limco, there are I think 4 different kinds of Limco. Limco 3 is the single stage Urethane and is what you would want to use. Here's a link to the mixing info...
