This is my favorite show. From our area (N.E. of Baltimore - exit 80 off 95) it's all country back roads through Amish country. There's a campground right there at Maplegrove. We drive up Sat. eve and camp. Me & some of the Slowriders crew are aiming for that, if anyone's interested. |

First we need to see where eveyone is coming from to organize. Of course those coming from the north will be in a different caravan than those coming from the south.
CJVWS and SJVWC is coming from the north.
SVWAC and DVVWC is coming from the south.
still haven't heard from SPVWC, VWSINPA, HAVOC, Parkville Bugs, and any VW's from VA. |

I'll be camping in the field the night before. It is a pretty chill place to camp. Just keep the noise down and I don't think fires are allowed. The fire hall has bathrooms you can use. I felt like an idiot walking in there during Bingo though  .
Opps. I thought this was the campbellstown thread. Since it isn't, I'll be camping at the campground across the street. |

I'll be there with a bus load of stuff for the swap meet as usual.
I NEVER miss Maple Grove :D
I'll be headed out way too early to make the caravan but it's a perfect VW show to have one for.
Usually a fairly big air-cooled turn out too.
If you are reading this and you have never been to the Grove before, it's an excellent ( as in HUGE ) swap meet and a fantastic car show at a VERY nice facility. Lots of grass, trees, and it's clean !
Oh yea... there's a drag strip too
I'm only an hour away from M.G.R. ( in a loaded bus at that ) so I've never camped out across the street... but I have rolled out to the camp grounds the day before to hang out and have a few cold ones with friends that were camping there over the years, and it's a very cool spot to camp with a lot of VW people 8) |

Hey its cool man. I just didnt want you to forget about us down here in VA. :) We will probably go up 15 to 76 to 222. Some of our members live in the more northern part of VA(near DC) so we might go pick them up and go 95. I will keep you posted. This show is probably my favorite out of them all. It should be lots of fun. 8) |
