Well thanks samba for helping me with all of my real problems but now i think I've got an interesting one that i know hasn't been asked.
I've got an impeach nixon sticker on my bumper that i absolutly love. (see my avatar) Because I 'm 16 everyone else has anti Bush stickers at my school so this sticker is always a source of comedy. unfortunatly it is falling apart and cracking. Any one know how to keep this fun peace of history alive longer?

Hi,
Ah, Gas Crisis, Vietnam War, Civil Unrest, Watergate, Nixon's impeachment, crappy American Cars, Crappy VW Beetles..... Those were fun days! Unlike Clinton he decided to walk away. I remember the day well.
So you are in high school. Most high schools have great computer labs and in past days, great printing / graphic shops.
Any of the kids in either of these labs should be able to proof you up an exact match for your current sticker and then be able to print it up. You may need to make a new "friend" to get this done for you.
Print up a few extras for when they fade away you can refresh them.
You could do the same at home on your computer with a simple graphics program.
You can purchase bumper sticker blanks and do your own thing.

Use Photo Ink, it is water proof and color fast.

Such a great place. They used to sell my T-shirts a while back. I once had an old Land Cruiser plastered with their wares.
Remember the "Would You Buy A Used Car From This Man?" poster? |

Thanks for all the help... i was looking at the evolvefish.com site and they have the option on creating your own sticker... so i could just do it that way.
Well, the clear acrylic if it truly works that sounds the like the best solution for keeping the current one alive a little longer |

That's funny, it's an election year and I can't support either candidate, as my car is a 71 and 72 was an election year I'm going to put Nixon and Helms bumper stickers on it! :D
(72 was the first year Helms ran for the Senate). |

since i was alive when franklin roosevelt was president,i have to say that i liked richard nixon. i was working at least 60 hours a week and sometimes even 70 hours per week. nixon and johnson both bombed the crap out of north viet nam while other fraidy cats did nothing. |

I saw a McGovern bumper sticker on a bus of that era, so I wanted to get an anachronistically appropriate sticker for my '64. I found out that Presidential libraries often have reprints of old bumper stickers available.
I got a Johnson / Humphrey sticker from the LBJ library for less than $5.
Now it's unlikely the Nixon library has a copy of this particular sticker :), but they'd be a good place to start searching. Ebay has a lot of vintage stickers too.
As an aside, you can still get Goldwater stickers too. They are a weird shape that doesn't fit on a bumper, though. |

So you're the one! I'd heard rumors about someone that still like "Dick". You will have to be included on the next endangered list. |
