Ahh, not a T34 face plate, but not a T3 either. Its a two piece and is two wide for it to be a T34. It may be a different version of a T3? Not sure. Part of the fun in posting it to see what others know.
Here are pics from the Blaupunkt 63&65 catalog. Both carry the speaker we have. Then the dash shots from 1963.

I know this is redundant for some of you - but Ive got a couple questions on where to get the "Type 3" parts for a Blaupunkt radio. Answer is everywhere. You have to keep an eye out for a piece here or there. Especially the soft, formed cover for the outside - the hardest part to find in decent usable shape. It was the discovery of that piece in my 64 that prompted me to make a complete T3 radio by using a Blaupunkt Frankfurt or Köln radio.
This is an Essen. It does not have the big powerpack and uses a slightly different surround. But you can see the two hangers - front and rear, the face plate and the soft formed cover surround. The knobs are aftermarket Porsche.
Also the generic parts seen in the catalog - the accessory speaker as well as a different accessory speaker - G & J. With the accessory speaker - a second speaker other than the one in the dash to give you simulated stereo - you needed a fader - The Überblendregler.
The fader and the other speaker were from Jacks 65. Yes indeed a gracious gift between friends. Thanks again Jack - maybe Ill use it some day I say some day as I will have a second speaker in the 64 notch but I found a better looking Überblendregler on eBay but havnt got it yet Or better yet I give it back so we can put it back where it came from.

As a follow up. Here is a side by side of the T3 faceplate top and the Type 3 two piece? below?? That two piece one is almost the same. The overall size it but has variations. So it was either meant for something else or could be a different or later version for the T3?

Last detail on radio stuff - the Bosch Blue Tip Antenna. Pushed all the way down it prevents hoodlums from snapping your shit off and whipping the donkey with it. To access your enteni, you must have a key. Luckily I have one.

thats cool, I wondered how that worked. Still needed today, apparently the crack heads can spot an old car a mile away. they like the old hollow antennae type as it makes a better crack pipe _________________ Stop dead photo links! Post your photos to The Samba Gallery! |

Pair of tweezers or a jeweler's screwdriver works just fine too. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Do the keys for the repop antennas work too? If so I have at least 1 of those floating around. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Have you actually seen the Woody's repop blue and red tip antennae in person?
Very nicely done. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.
