I'm wondering if sliding rag cars had headliner bows in them, similar to non-sliding rag cars. If so, anyone know the dimensions? I recently picked up a 58 that has no sunroof mechanism installed (I have one but am not sure it's complete). Any help identifying the necessary parts and fasteners would be greatly apprecaited. |

They just need one, behind the ragtop opening (I'm having my 59 ragtop headliner installed next month or so). Buy one from Wolfsburg West, which can be cut to length.
I bought some bow caps for an entire headliner, meaning I will have some extras. Can pro-rate a price for a pair and send them to you, including shipping, instead of you buying a whole package, if you wish.
Best,

Thanks everyone. I suppose I need to do an assessment of the vehicle and see what parts are in it. I appreciate the help and may take you up on the bow ends. Any idea of the length of the headliner bow? |

If you're talking to me, I will be at my shop tomorrow and measure the one I bought at WW, and post it here. Will likely need shortening, when I have my headliner done next month or so...
Here's a link to the headliner bow end caps I was referring to:
http://www.wolfsburgwest.com/cart/DetailsList.cfm?ID=113867649
Will likely sell you a pair for $1 (14 caps = 7 pairs = $1 per pair), plus envelope postage. Just don't want the remainders to go to waste. Will do same for others that need them, except that I'll retain 2 pairs for myself (tend to misplace/lose things these days).
Best,

Just in case, I had bought a headliner kit from Wolfsburg West, which came with 4-5 bows that are 48" long. They're plenty long, but I will need to shorten one to the correct length when I have my headliner installed.
Headliner kit:

48" bow:

Let me know if you want a pair of bow end caps...
Good luck!
