I bought a set of very nice doors to replace the ones on my 74 std Bug, they still have the vent windows my old ones were converted to one piece windows and they suck. The top hinges are fine but the bottom ones are stuck, I have tried spraying them with WD40 and smacking them with a hammer but it does nothing, there is no rust on these doors at all what would make the bottom hinges lock up and not the top?
Any ideas how to break them loose?

Casey

You might soak a towel in ATF mixed with acetone- then stuff that around the hinge an zip tie it in place for a few days- refresh the towel when dry.

This works and won't set your bus on fire.

Try PB Blaster and some heat.
