Hi,
I was given what I think is a spatz buggy. Its on a 62 pan built around 1969. Besides the crazy wiring, the 4 (count them FOUR horns), and all the aftermarket parts that were at one time hooked up but are now disconnected but still in place...... it has some aluminum fenders rigged up for the back tires and the drivers side front tire. No fender was ever mounted to the body fender on the passenger side. The fenders ARE NOT visually pleasing so I'm assuming they are functional. Will I get road splatter from driving on wet roads? It's the only thing I can think of but I'm only 5' 8"...I don't hang outside the body.....

Please advise.

Thank you.

Most fiberglass buggies I've seen have fenders integral with the body. Sometime wider tires extend beyond them but they still have fenders. I'm not picturing what you have. Are these some kind of extra mudflaps? Do you have a picture?
