a wiring and a what is it question (Correction)

I have 3 wires in a harness, a brown, a brown with white tracer, and a yellow with red tracer coming from engine compartment. one has spade connector and other 2 connectors are gone. They would reach as far a battery. What would these be.
Note, the wires I'm asking about come out from the main harness just inside the car near the battery. I thought they came through the firewall by them selves but that isn't the case.

Wires are for the old testing equipment. Not used by anyone that I know.

The item in the picture is for a gun rack. All Things have it as they were also used for German and UN version of an army jeep.

Thanks for info.
I guess it doesn't hurt for those wires to touch each other or ground. I think I'll tape them up from each other and ground or hot battery
