The Knox Volks Motor Club presents Summer Jam 9, All Volkswagen Car Show

Jammin’ in Townsend!

Beat the heat of July in scenic and cooler Townsend,TN located minutes from Pigeon Forge. Summer Jam will be held at the Talley Ho Inn again in 2017. The Talley Ho Inn offers a huge grassy area that will accommodate show cars, vendors, and spectators. You can take your time browsing through the cars, swappers and vendors because the grass is so much cooler than pavement.

The Talley Ho is the Host Hotel for the show offering reduced room rates for any show participant. Be sure to mention Knox Volks Motor Club when you call.

Schedule:

The Car Show is Saturday and Sunday and the Bicycle show is Saturday one day only.

There will be a planned cruise Saturday for those who would like to participate.

There will also be valve cover racing on Saturday and Sunday.

FREE SWAP MEET SPOTS WHEN YOU REGISTER!

Included with your show car registration or car for sale registration is ONE FREE 10ft. x 10ft. SWAP SPOT for swapping used parts. Additional 10x10 spots may be purchased for $10 each. Used parts only for the free swap spot.

NOTE: New parts vendors must purchase a vendor spot.

Summer Jam Bicycle Show and Swap. If you have a cool bike to go with your VW (as many of us do), you can enter it to win one of 10 trophies including a best of show and best accessories prize. We have a local bike guru judging the entries. Entry into the bike show is just $5.

VDub For Sale fee includes one vehicle and one driver. If you have additional people in your party, they will need to purchase a daily spectator fee. There is a discount for two-day spectator if purchased prior to July 7th, 2017.

FREE SWAP MEET SPOTS - Included with your show car registration, spectator registration, or car for sale registration is ONE FREE 10ft. x 10ft. SWAP SPOT for swapping parts. Additional 10x10 spots may be purchased for $10 each. *New parts vendors must purchase a vending spot. Swappers will be determined by having a large majority of used parts. Summer Jam 5 reserves to right to determine if a swapper is indeed a New Parts Vendor and may require that Vendor to pay the vending fee. Spectators will be entitled to one 10x10 spot per family (not one spot for each of 4 kids if you catch our drift).

Sorry, Tent Camping Is NOT Available On Site!We are working on securing camping across the street. Bus camping may be available at the showgrounds this year, but no campfires. MORE DETAILS TO COME.

Pets are Welcome
Your pets are welcome at Summer Jam! Please be advised that your pet must be on a leash at all times. You must also pick up after your pet while at Summer Jam.

Parking
Free spectator parking will be available at the Talley Ho Inn. A map detailing parking areas will be uploaded to this site soon.
