Hi,
Which one is correct for 57 oval window? Please note they are slightly different.
Thank you.

The one one the left, no slots for the axle tube bolts. I'm not sure when they started with the slots but my 57 does not have them. |

...and I dismantled a '59 that did have the slots. That poor thing was a case of death and decay, but it helped some other Bugs live.
BTW - I just noticed that you are in my neighborhood Snort. _________________

While maybe not "correct", I'd use the one that wasn't pounded on with a 5# mallet, at least until I could find a correct one. The slots will give you some toe in adjustability & the slots will mostly be hidden by the bolts/nuts. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

It's always good to know there are others here to share in the abundance of carburetor ice and window condensation. |
