An old friend found out that I acquired a 73 Thing. Guess he bought one new and still had the original literature in his file cabinet. He surprised me with a very cool gift tonight. I have seen the smaller abreveated one but not the larger one. Just thought they were cool...

Nice gift indeed! I saw a few of them for sale at the Hershey swap meet last year - seller was asking $50 a piece!

Just a reach- but with all the promotional LPs VW released in the 70s- is there a chance that larger format brochure was printed to be included in a record jacket?

If so, I've got a lot more VW LP hunting to do...
